I asked for permission to post this tonight because I know there are lots of prayer warriors out there. We covet your prayers at this time. Our friend, Hank Taylor, has been battling melanoma cancer recently. This past weekend he and his wife Lisa, returned to MD Anderson. Currently, he is in need of a miracle. He is in pain and is in need of a blood transfusion. The cancer has spread to many parts of his body. He is not able to have the chemo at this time as he had planned. We are praying for that miracle and desire your prayers as well.
Our God is a God of miracles!
Today I was given a link to an article called, Brain Difference Between Believers and Non-Believers. It is an interesting article from a scientific point of view on the role our faith plays. Take a moment to read this and know that as we choose to "BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD," it not only draws our heart closer to Him, but it does a mighty work in our brain as well!
...it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.

Another year older, another year better

March is our month of birthdays in our family and as I mentioned in my last post, David and Nathan get to share a birthday. I just wanted to wish my husband a Happy Birthday publicly and post a picture that was taken of us at the Wise Choices Pregnancy Center Gala last week. You are the man of my dreams.

Nathan turns 19
HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY, NATHAN! YOU ARE OUR FAVORITE, MIDDLE SON!

Nathan and Dad get to share a birthday party every year, since they are only two days apart.
I wish I had some of those beautiful baby pictures to embarass him with on my blog, but I don't have a scanner and they were taken before I had a digital camera. So here are a few of my favorites taken at our birthday celebration yesterday and then just a few others. He is a great young man, who is trying hard in his first year of college. He loves to ride bulls, loves his family and friends and just like his momma, he is always ready for a vacation. He has given us great pride and joy over the past 19 years.
