Loving our good news!

Like a little girl loves chocolate with sprinkles
(yummy cakes made at Cakes by Leisha)

Or loving on her special, puppy dog
This momma LOVES sharing my good news!

Tuesday, we went for Lia's follow up appointment at the cardiologist and after a three hour visit she was such a trooper!   He said her heart sounded wonderful and was so happy with the way everything looked.  We were given the go ahead to stop her blood pressure medicine as soon as it is gone and just continue her baby aspirin once a day(probably for the rest of her life).  That's ok though, because it tastes ok, is cheap, and is
OH, so much better than being on so many meds!!  Dr. Sui is an incredible man of God and prayed over her a prayer that was so beautiful and then said, "I'll see you in a year!"  Such pleasant words to hear after we took this step of faith and had no idea what the future would hold for her.

GOD IS GOOD
and
HE IS THE TRUE HEALER
OF
BROKEN HEARTS!

Now could I ask one big, favor?
PLEASE?
It has been one year this month since we brought Lia home and I would really like to publish my blog into a book for her to have when she is older.  Remember, she is the 5th child and of course doesn't have a baby book(we don't even have pictures of her baby days) or a scrapbook like the other four kids.  I would be SO thrilled if you would add a comment here on my blog,
reminding her that you have prayed for her this past year or how blessed we have all been by God adding her to our family.  She is young enough that she likely won't remember these days when she is older and this will be such a gift for her to keep and recall how God provided for her and how many people prayed her through.
I know we have had a multitude of prayer warriors and I can't thank you all enough!
Oh, but God will bless you indeed someday for the prayers you have prayed and ways you have provided for us and for her!
If you are reading this on facebook I can't publish those, so please leave your comments HERE.  You don't have to be a follower of my blog to comment (but I would be blessed if you chose to follow by  clicking on the "follower" link on the right.
Your comments will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

God is good all the time and all the time, God is good!
Suzette, I consider my children pieces of my heart walking around outside my body and I am so excited to know that a piece of your heart now has her very own healthy, happy heart! Praise the Lord, our ultimate healer! It has been such a blessing to pray for Lia's safe arrival to Texas and into her place and home as a member of the Jones family! Her family! God picked out wonderful parents for you, Lia! Always remember Jeremiah 29:11, which says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We will anxiously be waiting to watch your future unfold! God Bless you and your precious family!

Lia, we are so blessed to have you in our family. I tell everyone that we got the jewel of China and your smile lights up every room you enter.
We have prayed for you before we ever saw your face and I believe God has great things for your life.
I rejoice with every answered prayer regarding your health!
Keep smiling!

Lia,
I have prayed for you before your family even knew who you were. They just knew a little girl was waiting for them in China. I prayed that Our Heavenly Father would pick the perfect little girl. And...HE DID!! I remember how excited I was when they finally knew your name and I could pray for you by name...long before you ever came home. Then, they showed me your picture and I was so excited (not as excited as your family) and just couldn't wait until you got here. I had so much fun helping to raise the money to get you home and I told everyone who came to the sale all about YOU!! I watched all those long months as your parents waited for you and saw many miracles God performed, because He knew you needed to be with your forever family.

I will never forget the first time I met you...you looked at me with those beautiful eyes...those eyes that said so much...happy, joyful, wise, smart. And Oh my... you had my heart!!!
I am so blessed to be a part of your life journey. My sweet Lia Feith...you are a blessing to me and so many others.

I am very thankful that our Heavenly Father sent you to the Perfect Forever Family.

Happy First Year Home!!

Love,
Judy

Lia,

I am so glad you were in my class this year. You brightened my day every morning with your beautiful smile. Your love for learning and all you have accomplished this year amaze me! You are a beautiful, smart, and caring girl and you are so lucky to have the family that you do. I am so glad that my prayers for your healing were answered! Praise God who is the healer of the broken-hearted! I will miss you next year, but hope to still be a part of your life. I love you like crazy cakes too! I will come by soon and see you!

What a priviledge it has been to pray for Lia and our dear longtime friends throughout this process. From the moment we knew that you were thinking about adoption to this moment with Lia getting good news from the doctor, we have prayed that God's hand be upon you all and His will be done. You will never know how many people have prayed for you along this journey. God is good all the time! And all the time God is good! I look forward to all the new milestones in the Jones' family. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You each are a blessing!

Love,
Angela, Rick, Clayton and Jessica LeRoy

Suzette,
You are such an inspiration to me. Adoption is something that I feel might have a special place in my journey one day, and watching the Jones' life and blessings through adoption is so special! Lia has been in my prayers for over a year since I came upon you blog and I love seeing our Father's work in action.
Blessings,
