Easter 2013

As Sunday morning arrived and all of the preparation began to unfold I thought of the importance of this day and how God has been so faithful.  I think most moms would agree that one of the most incredible days of her life was the birth of her children.  For those of us fortunate enough to be blessed by adoption, we tend to wonder what our child's first days and moments were like.  Consequently, today was even more special.  You see, I may not have been there for Lia's first birth and may have missed out on 4 years of her life, but God spoke to her little hear,  and with her childlike faith she accepted Him as her Savior, and today I had the privilege of witnessing her second birth.
Knowing that all five of my children have made this decision is a joy that overwhelms my soul!  I can't think of any better way to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord than to watch my baby girl's excitement for Him! Every day for the past week we counted down the days until Easter, a day we would celebrate Christ's resurrection, Lia's baptism and Aunt Sherri and Aunt Lee Ann's birthday.  Wow, did we celebrate!  We had food galore and about 30 friends and relatives to share our day.  God blessed us with perfect weather and plenty of memories to last a lifetime.  And now....our day in pictures.
