A new day

Lia is finally getting ice chips and is beginning to wake up. Just as I typed this she threw up the ice. She lost quite a bit of blood, but is doing better.

We had a very depressing night and ask that you pray for Paytons family. We wish they could have had the miracle we all prayed for, but we now pray for God to comfort them in their sorrow.

Lia is resting well now and our family will help give us breaks through the day. Thank you for all of the prayers and please continue!

Suzette,

Praising the Lord to see Lia with her little eyes open, the surgery behind her (and behind you too). Thank you Lord!

Praying for Payton's family, that the Lord would hold them tightly as they walk through this darkness. I can't begin to imagine their pain. Thank you for praying and believing with them. Life is very hard to understand sometimes--when there is no way to comprehend the "whys". One thing we know-- God is good. Always. Oh Lord, please hold this family ever close to your heart. Please bring comfort Lord.

Suzette, May He give you peace today, may He give physical strength to your weary body. And may He continue to guard Lia's sweetly beating heart!

Blessings~

Tina

I woke up at 5am this morning with your family on my mind. I said a prayer for little Lia and you all and grabbed my computer to check your blog. I began my blog when Monty had surgery. It is such a great way to keep everyone updated. We will continue praying for a speedy recovery for Lia.

Payton's family was on my mind this morning. God had you there with them for a reason, I just know it. I will pray for strength for all of you as you share the duty of being with Lia 24/7 over the next few days. I am keeping up with the progress through FB and your blog. Trying to not call and bother you while you are tending to her. Love you..teta ( and what of the newborn that had surgery on Monday?)

I have been praying and praying some more. I agree with Tara, you were right where God needed you to be, even though it is so hard! Also, like Tara I haven't' called because I'm afraid to bother or even wake you. Keeping up here and fb. Love you all, Judy
